About the Author

Jerry Parks teaches 7th grade social studies at Georgetown Middle School in Georgetown, Kentucky. He has three previously published works: With Joseph in the University of Adversity: The Mizraim Principles, a study of the life of Joseph the Hebrew, So, You Want to be an NBPTS Certified Teacher?, a guide for teachers considering the National Board Certification Process, and Teacher Under Construction, a handbook for new teachers.
