About the Author

Jim Meehan is a retired British Chartered Positive Psychologist, as well as a published poet and non ction author. After leaving school at eighteen, he spent four and a half years in seminary exploring the possibility of becoming a Catholic priest. He then spent two years considering a career in nance. He eventually concluded that his strengths were best suited to working with people in organisational settings. This led to a ftyyear career, divided equally between the United States and the United Kingdom, specialising in the selection and development of leaders and in communication between management and employees. In his previous books, Meehan re ected on aspects of his personal growth and the challenges he has faced throughout his life. Now in his eighties, he feels the time has come to write a more integrated and self-contained account of his life story. Meehan hopes that his story will entertain readers while also o ering thoughtful and occasionally amusing insights into the human condition.
