About the Book

Football fans throughout the world will finally get an “insight” into what it is like to be connected and married to a professional football star—a quarterback—in the NFL who played fourteen years with professional teams. It is very rare to have a woman express and tell of her experience and what it is like to be married to a sports celebrity. And very few women have been privileged enough to experience such an exciting and interesting life. The former Mrs. Rudy Bukich did not wish to write such a book until his passing in 2016, when he died of brain trauma injury due to his long career in high school, college, and professional football. However, the NFL is currently under pressure to discuss CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) and are openly trying to remedy problems with CTE. The NFL is also paying out millions of dollars to former players who have been diagnosed with concussions and CTE. This book is also a love story of how, in the end, a couple struggled to keep a beautiful family together. It is a highly interesting and informative book for both men and women—a book that is destined to become a part of NFL history.

About the Author

Jean was born in Los Angeles California, and now lives in San Clemente California. In college she met and married USC Trojan quarterback, Rudy Bukich, who also played 14 years in the NFL (8 years with the Chicago Bears). In the 1980’s, as a single mom of 4 children, she formed KN World Productions producing music and stories for family entertainment. She attended BYU in Provo, Utah and UCI Irvine, California. She has a degree in teaching.
