About the Author

Jean Andersen Harter, creator of Knoodle World and its characters is President and CEO of the KIND WORLD PROJECT for children. She was educated at UCI, the University of California at IRVINE and BYU, Provo, Utah. She has a degree in elementary education.

Jeans’ husband, Derris Harter has a Masters degree in School Administration from USC, the University of Southern California and served as a school principal in Europe for the U.S. military for 35 years.

Together they have 6 children and 13 grandchildren and five in the coastal town of San Clemente, California. Jean and Derris married in 2011 when she was 78 years and he was 84.

When Derris learned of this exceptional, positive project for children he encouraged Jean to continue writing and she finished the musical in the year 2014. An amazing story with amazing cartoon characters designed to instill (good character) in children.

It is our hope that it will help kids of the world to be KIND, COURAGEOUS, CONFIDENT and COMPASSIONATE etc. so needed in our world today.
