M. LOUISE SMITH is a native Texan, firmly believing that her family roots were nourished in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Born in Robstown, she has lived in California, New Mexico, and various cities throughout Texas and Colorado. She and her architect husband share their love of art and travel with their four adult children. After spending numerous years in the corporate world in Houston and Austin with an international aviation brokerage firm, and then marketing, writing and advertising for a large insurance company, she diverted her attention to her love of writing novels and screenplays. Her diverse interests keep producing multiple genres such as; THE PACT, an international terrorist novel, COOPER, an intense psychological journey, ACCIDENTAL WIFE, for mature women, the amateur sleuth series, THE MIDDY BROWN JOURNALS, and the horror novel TORN SHADOW. She enjoys being a panelist at writers’ conferences and meeting her fans.
