We were born in the Big Bang. Our personal biography begins not with the man and woman who brought us forth, but much earlier, with the fireball of unimaginable intensity that exploded in spectacular cataclysm 15 billion years ago. Our lineage from that bursting emergence to where we are today is a single line of uninterrupted creation. We are the primordial universe in its latest, most current, form. In that moment of splendid, roaring primal creativity, consciousness as well as material was blown outward in every direction into expanding space. Every subatomic particle in the universe today was created in that burst. Over time, the gases and material hurtling through space gathered and formed galaxies, so our personal biography has a phase as the coalescing of billions of galaxies. Within those galaxies, gravity pulled swirling particles and gases together into coherent bodies that burst into flame, and stars were born. Our personal biography includes this phase as billions of bodies of flame sending their substance and their radiance out into the deep darkness. Some of those stars exploded in fiery bursts, hurling carbon and other elements into the infinities of black space. Those elements coalesced into planets, which commenced to promenade around their suns. In time, we became a billion swirling planets and their moons. Our true identity from the beginning has been that exploding fireball. In the nano-instant of that great burst, all the potentials of who we have become and who we will eventually be were born. The latest development in our unfolding is that we have now evolved sufficiently to realize who and what we really are. We are the universe itself, metamorphosing and unfolding its infinite, mysterious and miraculous nature through eons of time. The consciousness with which we now contemplate our true nature is the very stuff of Being, the invisible matrix of livingness and creativity that underlies and generates the material realm that we call the Cosmos. Today we are opening to and realizing the ancient Hindu truth--"Tat Tvam Asi"--"We are That."

About the Book
We live in perilous times. We face a host of problems, mostly self-created, that appear to be insurmountable. We need to move beyond the impulses of the primate mind and its habit of separateness into a new human consciousness that would take us to a larger and deeper worldview, and change the way that we do things.
Our old system of reality, which has underpinned our progress for the last 400 years, is eroding. Based on cause and effect, it was not large enough. Although quantum physics has thrown up the beginnings of a new framework, it is still largely unformed.
Part of that new, emerging reality might be Harmonic Patterns. Held in the invisible depths of Being, these patterns structure all realities as they emerge into the material realm. They orchestrate reality, and provide the order and structure upon which our lives depend.
In this book, Don C. Nix proposes that we look closely at Harmonic Patterns and accept them into our reality as companions to cause and effect. Harmonic Patterns are everywhere we look. They are the innate nature of Being, emerging as Being turns itself into the manifest world. We need to make a place for them.
About the Author
Don C. Nix was a lawyer, a university professor, and a professional artist for 25 years before turning to consciousness work. He founded the Re-Enchantment Project in 1996, and currently sees clients, teaches classes and leads workshops in Northern California and the Western United States.
