About the Book
Seven to one was inspired shortly after the events of ‘911’. Having worked for an airline at a major airport I had to wonder what possible terrorist events could possibly have happened to my airline and fellow co-workers. Our government was still in the early stages of trying to prevent other ‘911’s. The element of surprise by terrorist groups may have been lessened; however, their ability to carry out small scale attacks against the U.S. was still very possible. What was really safe at my airport? My observations at the airport concluded there were many ways yet to carry out various scenarios of terrorism. I also wondered, if my airline was subject to any small scale attack, how would my fellow employees react and deal with the crises. Seven female employees and one male employee become victims and must persevere in the suspenseful and adventurous novel Seven to One.
About the Author
I was employeed with a major airline when I penned the idea for Seven to One. When I retired I found time to write and publish my first book, Malcom's Measure, a historical adventure novel. A Year later I realized it was time to brush off my first manuscript and publish this novel, Seven to One. When I am not writing I enjoy: local and world travel, being with family and friends, my home, church and 1860's period style camping with the reactivated 30th North Carolina Troops, co. K/9th Pa. co. H. I am proud to be a 6th gereration North Carolinian and a graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a BA in history. Should I slow down enough in retirement I plan to write a sequel to Malcom's Measure and an eye opening novel regarding how 'A" type male teachers are discriminated against in public schools systems.
