About the Author

I was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina. I love living in the south and can qualify my preference having visited all fifty states. I began work for a major airline in Atlanta, Georgia then returned to Charlotte, North Carolina where my two children were born. They share my passion for travel and adventure. After retirement I now work as a third grade assistant, in Union County, North Carolina.

I earned a degree in History from UNCC in Charlotte and participate in Living History events with the 30th North Carolina Troops/9th Pa.

History, travel and daydreaming have been some of my penchants in life. Many doors have been unlocked to reveal inspiring information to add to my treasure chest file, (of plots, how was it?
