About the Book

Born in Scotland, raised in New York City, David Campbell deplores the idea of living a routine existence in the city. Enlisting in the army, he meets Julie Randolph and they fall in love. She shares much of the stress and terror that has been visited on him through a period of two decades. The author takes David through many adventures and illustrates the growth and maturation and tragedies of a young man over a period of twenty years, and the courage in which David always manages to face the future.

About the Author

Charles Frazier served over twenty years in the U.S Army and Air Force. Serving in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnamese War, upon completion of his military career he taught social studies in several schools. He lives in a small town in Texas.
