At the age of 76 the author felt a sudden urge to acquaint her grandchildren with some of her stranger writings since some of them are funny and some are weird. Either way it does not take long to read any of them, which should be a relief.

About the Author

Born in Durham, North Carolina, in 1930, Ann Burrus has advanced degrees in American Literature, Early Childhood Education and Creative Writing, and has taught college English, fourth grade and creative writing. She is married to an attorney, has three sons and three granddaughters, and has lived in Richmond, Virginia, since 1954.
