About the Author

Mary Cheek's new book, Where Whippoorwills Sing is centered around her life growing up in the south on a large family farm with six siblings.

Beautiful evening sunsets and the distant call of whippoorwills at dusk were conformations of God's creative work in our world expressing many spiritual insights.

Mary lives with husband Wayne in Greensboro, N.C. They have four children and four grandchildren.
