Written entirely in reverse, The Honeycomb Prophecies is an artistic and poetic expression born out of a fifteen day fast into the wilds of the Grand Canyon. Five miles down into the Earth, each step revealed powerful messages from the ancestors, river, creatures, and wind. Infused with Native American wisdom, these words carry the respect, understanding, and wisdom of returning to our Mother Earth and living a life of harmony and sustainability for all our relations.

About the Author

Dreaming-Bear Baraka Kanaan, (www.dreamingbear.net) an internationally renowned spoken word artist, author, and peace advocate, elegantly blends the universe's quantum understandings with inner expressions of the heart, offering a fresh perspective on how to transform pain into beauty. Most recently, his work has been focused on the war torn regions of the Middle East, where he uses creativity and art to build bridges of commonality between life-long enemies.

The foundation for Dreaming-Bear’s work as a transformational artist is deeply personal. Born to a runaway teenage mother and refugee father, he survived through years of poverty and abuse. When he was eight years old, he witnessed the death of his brother and the kidnapping of his sister. To cope with an overwhelming sense of pain and loss, he began to write, beginning the alchemical inspiration for metamorphosis and spiritual discovery.

Dreaming-Bear has traveled the world extensively, sharing his message of unconditional love and fulfillment of personal potential with audiences as diverse as international dignitaries, corporate groups, and third world refugees. He holds a master’s degree in Communications and is the author of seven inspirational books and two spoken word cd’s. Dreaming-Bear is a frequent guest in the media, hosts his own weekly radio show. While guns and bombs work to tear communities apart, spoken word artist Dreaming-Bear Kanaan is using the simple power of words to bring them back together. Dreaming-Bear recently returned from a "Tour of Tenderness” of intensive peace-outreaches between Palestinians & Israelis where he witnessed the pure joy of two divided cultures reuniting for the first time, rediscovering each other’s beauty through artistry. It was on this tour that he realized how crucial creativity is to the peace process.

Dreaming-Bear offers a fresh voice in a newly awakening peace movement that is building in response to an abundant number of conflicts around the world.
