About the Author

Educator of the Year Julie Adams, has been a teacher since 1997. She is a Content Area Literacy consultant and owner of Adams Educational Consulting, providing training in content area reading and writing to schools throughout the United States and Asia. In addition to her Master?s in Teaching, she is a Nationally Board Certified teacher who has taught at all levels. A former professor, she also serves as a literacy consultant for the National High Schools Association and the California League of High Schools.
