About the Author

Mary Martinen is a retired physician living in the Detroit area with her cats. She started writing because she thought it would be fun, and because she wanted to share her cat, Panther, with other cat lovers. She has published articles in the medical literature but this is the first children’s series of books. She hopes that the reader will enjoy the book as much as she enjoyed writing it. Cheryl Phillips has been an artist her entire life. Whether or not she was taking coursework she was always creating something of beauty. Currently she works in her studio in Farmington Hills.
