Stabman

Day 1

I’ve made the decision, and my course is clear. The city reels under a wave of violent crime which goes unopposed. The police have their hands tied by the bureaucratic red tape of the “Justice” system. The Criminals have grown bold, and the citizenry bleats in ineffectual fear like lost sheep. The strong must arise, and set an example in these dark times. I number myself among those proud few with the fortitude to grapple the miscreants, and pummel them into submission. My time is now. Now begins the rise of a new breed of hero. Now begins the rise of Stabman.

My gear is laid before me, the tools of my chosen vocation. Twin titanium frame-lock folders for the front pockets, right and left, with S90V super-steel; an Emerson La Griffe for around my neck. Kevlar lined sap gloves; ASP extendable 21” baton; a 300 lumen tactical flashlight that doubles as a yawara stick; and a pen which can be driven through a skull. Pepper spray to assist in subduing scum or in aiding my escape. Cargo pants with knee pads underneath, a leather jacket, and high topped steel-toe, steel-shank leather boots serve as protective gear. A camouflage net mask should help for identity protection to a certain extent; the choice of clothing and mask will likely need revision. My backpack has 100 feet of paracord, one roll of duct tape, channel-lock pliers and a compact pry bar in it. There’s two liters of water and some protein bars in the bag as well, to help fuel me on patrols. I will likely adjust what’s carried as time goes on, but this will do for now. No more delays, no more excuses. I am ready.
