About the Book

Myra Returns Home tells of a farm woman who suffered, survived, and transcended. It opens with the tragic deaths of her husband and two children in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The novel takes Myra away to further trying experiences, but returns her back home to surprising love for a neighboring farmer.

About the Author

J. Denis Glover, author of Myra Returns Home, as well as The Smithy Miracles, holds an honors degree in British and American Literature from Columbia University.  Glover has strong Shenandoah Valley, Baltimore, and Tidewater Virginia roots. Having lived in London, Geneva, and Berlin, he now makes his home by the sea on Cape Cod.
