“Yeah, I went to transfer to the wheelchair and missed the stupid thing.” Later in the day, Wendy rolled out into the kitchen and asked, “What’s for breakfast?” Her mother calmly replied, “What do you mean, breakfast? It’s almost lunchtime.” Margaret set a cup of coffee in front on Wendy, and said, “Do you want to tell me, what really happened last night?” With an innocent expression on her face, Wendy asked, “What do you mean?” “You know very well what I am talking about. You didn’t miss the wheelchair, did you?” Wendy took a swallow of coffee and said, “I have been having nightmares, about being tied to the bush, for the past couple of nights. Only last nights’ dream was more intense, than the previous nights. Please! Don’t tell dad, he will only worry himself, sick.” Her mother asked, “Do you mind, if I let the Pastor know?” Wendy answered, “As long as I’m not put on the prayer list, so dad can read about it during intercessory prayers.” “That's no problem, however, you, young lady, need to see a specialist, about walking again.”

About the Book
This story is about a young woman Elizabeth who becomes disabled and bound to a wheelchair and all the struggles and problems she has to face because she's disabled. The trials that Elizabeth faces are not fi ctitious but actual events that happened to a woman in a wheelchair and her boyfriend.
About the Author
In 1947 I was born a pound and a half in a home in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, Canada, and had no medical equipment to keep me alive. But by the grace of God, I survived and would have grown up a southpaw. But I was forced to use my right hand; this caused dyslexia, mental confusion, and the inability to function properly in school. I attended a one-room schoolhouse, and the teacher took a disliking towards me for some unknown reasons and hit me on my arm every chance she got with a belt made from a car tire. My family moved to America in November 1953, and at the age of 23, the doctor told me that I had a brain tumor and had six months to live. However, before those six months were up, I received Christ in my life, and He gave me His Holy Spirit, which put new hope and joy in my heart. In 1977, my vision blurred, my coordination was off and was diagnosed with a brain tumor for the second time. However, Christ delivered me from death’s door again. But, two years later, dea th gave me a heart attack, and I died. I woke in a shroud of darkness, experiencing a joy that cannot be put into words as I stared at a glowing red outline of the Lord Jesus Christ sitting on His thr one. He said in a deep voice, go back, for it is not your time. In 1983, I met the love of my life, Lauren B. O’Brien, and we were married. I went back to using my left hand, dyslexia disappeared, and I became a writer, with Lauren as my editor.
