About the Book

On a cold fall morning in Kemmerer, Wyoming, Carson “Kit” Andrews is walking to his office after a breakfast with two of his oldest friends. A thirteen-year-old boy confronts Carson “Kit” Andrews in front of his office. The young boy asks Kit to find his father, who he has never met and who has no idea he has a son. The boy offers to pay Kit for his services by producing a sock from his jeans pocket and dumping a small pile on coins on the desk. Kit removes four quarters and tells the boy that will cover his fee.
What follows in a journey to find a father who has no knowledge of the boy. The story is about the journey to find the father and includes all the places and people that Kit encounters during that journey

About the Author

Robert W. Callis is a native of Galva, Illinois. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University in 1965 with a B.A degree, majoring in History and minoring in English. At Wesleyan he was a member of Sigma Tau Delta literary society. He attended the College of Law at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
He is retired and now lives in Longmont, Colorado. He has lived in Colorado since 1984. This is his fifteenth novel plus a book of short stories. This is his fourteenth novel in the Kit Andrews series
