About the Book

“May You Always Walk In Beauty” is a retrospective of the authors’ connections to the Navajo People. In 1972, a spiritual event occurred that blossomed into a present 53 year journey filled with unconditional love and blessings beyond all that is imaginable. Though this book is a duel effort, each writer is a solo author. Both Barbara-Jo’s “Play Me A Song” and Gene’s “Hoof Prints” received countless accolades from all those who read their previous books. Their beloved parents remain their inspirational role models in the core values they share together. All who enter their lives are welcomed as family with kindness, compassion, generosity, and love.

About the Author

Barbara-Jo earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in the Geological Sciences while Gene earned a B.A. in English. Both were educators and coaches at Hillsborough High New Jersey: their careers span 35 and 30 years respectively. In 1999 (BJ) and in 2002 (Gene) were selected by a District panel to represent Hillsborough H.S. for the excellence in teaching award. At a luncheon, the ‘N.J. Governor’s Teacher Recognition Awards” were presented to all Somerset County recipients. Presently retired and living in Flemington, New Jersey, the authors relish the freedom to travel, write, and volunteer at community venues. Sponsoring Navajo children remains a vital facet of their lives as their love, passion, and commitment are unwavering.
