About the Book

Each one of these stories involve situations that end up bringing two main characters together to form lasting relationships.  Of course, they have to resolve major issues before that can finally happen.

About the Author

I started my serious writing back in the early 1970s. Yeah. Over 50 years ago. What can I say? Unfortunately, my original publishing company went out of business. No surprise to me as it got taken over by a bunch of young people who wouldn’t listen to the authors. At least, that was my experience. The two books it had published for me were republished by my current publishing company, so they would be available to readers. This was the same situation for my Mother, Marilyn Goode. Her book was published by the same one. I have recently republished her book, Exchange for Murder, so it will be available for reading. She was a secretary for a judge/lawyer. As you may be aware, when I retired, I moved from Decatur, Georgia and eventually to about 50 miles up the coast from Zihuatanejo. It is on the southwest coast of Mexico. Forever Summer here. Many of my novels and stories incorporate events and things that have actually happened in my life. I did this to give a touch of reality to the reader. I have been incredibly fortunate that I was allowed to use pictures of important people in my life in the appreciation sections of my books and several have been used to represent characters in the stories. I did this because I am a great believer in the old saying . . . ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’. So far, there are 13 novels and one short story collection already in print. It is quite possible this will be my last publication as I have not had an inspiration for a major story for a novel in over 2 years. It is 2026 and I will be 81 in June. Yeah. Are you on the clue bus? Time will tell. Seriously, don’t wait for another one. As my Mother would have told you . . . “Don’t hold your breath. You’d look like hell blue.” GRIN.
