This fable fi nds Farmer Brown’s birds in a dilemma because they need to think of a problem to solve. The process makes them feel important. They select Weeping Willow and set about trying to improve her. Ultimately, the reader learns that you need to be yourself and not allow others to create a problem where there isn’t one.

About the Author

Shirley Babcock has spent her life teaching English at all age levels. She often creates fi ction works when she sees a need. Her fi rst novel The Video King was created because boys didn’t have a book about their favorite past time, playing video games. This book is created not only for enjoyment but also to teach children at an early age that each person is unique and negativity or bullying should not deter them from being who they genuinely are. Building self-confi dence is the best antidote to harassment and bullying.
