About the Book

Cristina is twenty two when her heart is broken over the deaths of her husband and baby boy. She runs away from home seeking solace. She is robbed and finds refuge under a bridge. A psychopath kidnaps her and holds her captive for two years. She becomes pregnant and he kicks her out. She returns to the bridge and stares down into the dark shimmering water with one foot on the rail. She hesitates when she hears bell chimes. She follows the sounds to a church and enters through the open door. Fr. Francesco discovers her curled up asleep in the pew. HEARTBROKEN LOVES is a riveting, heart-wrenching story of one woman's desperate journey for redemption.

About the Author

With three small boys in tow, I escaped from an abusive marriage, homeless and penniless. I turned to God and HEARTBROKEN LOVES was born. Fast forward; my previous career was as an actress. I graduated from Pasadena Playhouse, Pasadena, California.

If you picked up my book, it was not by chance; perhaps you were seeking answers to questions about God and life. Books find us at the right time and change our life forever. God always gives us signs to navigate our life’s journey. My life is similar to my prognostic. My story was written for myself as well as for you, my readers. At one time I lost my faith.

My book is compelling as well as informative. The moral of my story is to give hope; bad things will happen but they are in the purpose of a grander plan than can not be fathom and God does not abandon his faithful in times of suffering.

HEARTBROKEN LOVES is one woman’s journey towards redemption. I was motivated to write this book when I came across the following scripture: “The lord has given us talents and abilities so that we can serve him and make a difference in our circle of influence, no matter its size.”

My capabilities for writing this novel are not coincidental parts of who I am; they are bestowed by God.
