A few of my favorite quotes that shine light on the powerfulness of reading are, “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free” (Fredrick Douglas). Another favorite is “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go” (Dr. Seuss).

About the Author

Jacqueline McGinnis Winn is the critically acclaimed author of the novel, “Loving A Younger Man” released in 2019. The novel has been since drafted a as screen play and has debuted as a full-Length motion picture movie, on major movie platforms such as, Amazon Prime and Tubi. Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, Jacqueline grew up in the bay area of San Francisco, California. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University with A Bachelors Degree (BA) in Film Productions. Jacqueline is a mom of three boys, Nicholas, Alexander and Cristian, and they have been her biggest inspiration for writing this children’s book. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, dancing and being creative. Her desires and goals are to make the world a better place for peace and love, through her works in Film and her fictional writings, by touching the hearts of many, in a way that more peaceful harmony of dialog, change, and hope for humanity can blossom and bridge gaps. Once asked what her ultimate goal in life is, she said, “That’s simple, to educate people and stimulate positive mind growth about humanity as human beings”. Through her second book release, “Enchanting Stories”, which was designed for children, was created to push the imagination of the young mind, to dream big and expose the young reader to a world within their own world of possibilities, through developing necessary reading talents. The author believes the need for strong, fundamental comprehension skills is a must and it also helps to shape brighter futures for our young minds. Learning to read and strengthening reading abilities, as well as vocabulary, can be made to be fun and exciting, with the right creative content.
