About the Book
1958: New York City and Athens, Greece
Marcus Darke, a New York-based author of best-selling murder mysteries, his wife Valencia, and their young son Niles are heading to Greece for a short vacation and to do some extensive research for his next thriller.
Coincidently, one of their neighbors is also heading to Greece but on a potentially treacherous mission. Someone has set a trap but who will get caught, the prey or the hunter?
A well-respected curator of ancient antiquities is suddenly thrust into a deadly cat and mouse game he was least expecting.
Marcus Darke hires a highly recommended guide after arriving in Athens, but the guide has an ulterior motive and a violent history of his own.
The lusty owner of an old Greek taverna is about to change the lives of those with whom she comes in contact.
Marcus Darke and his family soon become merely secondary characters in what is really going on.
Lies, deceptions, truths and confessions…don’t be fooled by first impressions.
Intertwining tales of Greek mythology, ancient and recent histories, and beautiful vistas, prepare yourself for several twists perhaps you never saw coming.
