THE LONGEST AISLE is Nancy Ruth Gentry Best’s first book of prose. Her book of poetry which is quoted throughout this book is her other book in print. She has been a visionary and a risk-taker throughout her life. As a high school English teacher, as a pastor of local churches, and as a hospital chaplain, and even in her retirement those continue to be the guiding forces of the way she lives out relationships and even dubitabilities.
