About the Book

The main character in this book, Little Wanda Ann, is actually, my exwife! I wanted to write a children’s book and was looking for a character to build the book around and remembered this cute picture of her, when she was two years old, outside her house eating a cookie and voila, Little Wanda Ann was born! The major point in this book is that Little Wanda Ann learns about food, hunger and sharing at a very young age and that lesson becomes a focal point in the various stages of her life.

About the Author

Renwick Jones is a native of Gadsden, Alabama. He holds degrees from Gadsden High School, Alabama State University and Auburn University. He is retired with 27 years of experience as an administrator in Higher Education having worked at his college alma maters as well as Stillman College and the University of Alabama. The bedrock of his career is his time served as a broadcast journalist in Montgomery, Alabama from 1985 to 1987.
