About the Book
Two sisters love going to a nearby playground. There is a beautiful Japanese Maple tree that changes colors when children are sharing. They can’t figure out why the tree doesn’t change colors when Beth comes to the playground. One night, the two sisters share the same dream. The tree is not changing colors because Beth’s heart is aching on the inside. They become close friends, then Beth tells them what they already know…her parents are not together. It is a story of Love and Friendship.
About the Author
I began writing out of mere boredom at work in October of 1992. Then, I began reading my poems to Isabel, a resident at the Nursing Home. For whatever reason, I told her I was going to stop writing after forty poems. She looked me right in the eye and said, “Oh Love, you have a gift!” Never stop writing or you’ll lose the passion for life itself.” I am so glad I listened to her. Cheers!
