About the Book

Coupled: A Memoir in Poetry centers on the important role of activism: life changes such as marriage, having children, relocating for family and jobs, and finding one's calling, along with being engaged politically in issues that matter.

About the Author

David A. Kates is Head Librarian, Textbook Coordinator, and Thesis Co-coordinator at Saint Louis Priory School. Recently, he wrote a successful grant to use the campus as an environmental classroom. He lives in St. Louis with his wife and son, where they enjoy museums, the Zoo, biking, and eating out.
