Before you were created or conceived in your mother’s womb, the heavenly father knew the plans he had for your life. It doesn’t matter what your racial or social background is, whether black, white, Caucasian, Hispanic, rich or poor, we’re all born with a purpose. In My Pathway to Purpose, author Dr. Barbara Butterfield-Jervis narrates her story about finding her purpose and offers ways to help you discover yours. She believes that when we face difficult and trying times, God prepares us to help someone else going through what we experienced. Or, as incredible as it seems, what we’re presently going through. He prepares and strengthens us daily. In this memoir, Butterfield-Jervis shares that though she still faces difficulties and trials, God helps her through them all. This life isn’t easy, especially for those who are called. You’re let down by people who are supposed to be looking out for you; you’re so often used and abused; and life throws curve balls you miss every time they’re thrown. But with perseverance and faith, you finally make it home to your purpose.

About the Author

Dr. Barbara Butterfield-Jervis established Beauty for Ashes Women, a ministry that’s an arm of Charisma Evangelistic Ministry formed more twenty years ago. Throughout her life in ministry, she’s served as a praise and worship leader, youth leader, choir director, and director of the fine arts ministry. Butterfield-Jervis was first ordained as youth pastor and then became a district youth pastor, associate pastor, assistant pastor, and pastor.
