About the Book

In In Sickness and In Health, author Connie Williams takes to heart the part of the marital vow that a husband and wife care for each other in times of sickness and in health. Williams asserts that she and her husband indeed took care of each other during their time of good health, but that period abruptly changed and a new season, one of sickness, caught them off guard. During that time, she learned what it meant to care for him during his illness. Her love for her husband, faith in God, and advice from the doctors’ gave her the strength, wisdom, and understanding to provide the best care possible to nurse him back to health. Williams shares her inspiring account with the readers while also providing a basic understanding of stroke disease, its symptoms, and how to lessen the risks of having one, with the purpose of helping others.

Anthony (Tony) Williams & Connie Thomas Williams Tony & Connie Williams are ordained pastors and serve at Lighthouse Outreach Ministries in Saint Paul, Minnesota. They have been married for 27 years and blessed with five adult children and five grandchildren. In addition to being husband and wife, they are best friends and business partners, having owned and operated two fast food franchises for 15 years and worked in the food service industry for over 30 years. God has blessed and anointed them to live the Word, walk in the Word and share the Word by demonstrations of faith principles.
