About the Book

Where is Puka? is a part of a series for a book called“ I am John.” It’s a getaway for children who are coming to terms with experiencing new emotions. Puka the magical bear symbolizes that beacon of hope and acceptance of those emotions. In this story, a young boy named John loses his bear at the park. This Bear is very important to John because he magically came into his life while John was dealing with feelings of sadness, loneliness and depression as a young boy.
