About the Book
This book attempts to help people of all ages grow towards singing properly. The contents are designed to give Vocal Music Success: Ideas, Hints, and Help for Singers and Directors to all ages that desire growth in singing knowledge. The book contains suggestions for teachers and directors of singing groups. The book will teach and help singers with many mechanics needed in proper singing technique. In my experience as a teacher, student, adjudicator, and singer, I am confident that this book will help obtain, with confidence, a beautiful singing voice.
About the Author
The author of Ideas, Hints and Help: For Singers and Directors, has been active in vocal music most of his life. Early on, Mr. Dahlke played the trumpet in the U.S. Army Band in the 32nd Division. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and later Vandercook College of Music in Chicago. He has served as clinician and judged for Wisconsin School Music Association for forty years. He taught vocal and instrumental music at all grade levels in his entire career. He has directed several large church choirs throughout Wisconsin, wrote music and directed several handbell groups. He tuned piano in his spare time.
