About the Author

Maria Varela Espino, a graduate of Southern Oregon University, holds a paralegal degree from Irvine Valley College. Her desire for equitable circumstances for all, specially children, inspired this book. The author grew up and resides in Southern California. She is a proud mother of three infants.
