About the Book
This book is about Henry, a young boy whose father is dealing with liver disease. Henry is observing all the changes that his father is experiencing and how that is impacting the whole family and the relationship with his dad. Henry is the narrator and tells the story from his perspective. The book is intended to give hope to children experiencing similar stories as well as to ease any anxiety or fear they may be experiencing and to help parents to talk openly about the topic.
About the Author
Dr Rita Lepe, originally from Mexico City, is a physician specializing in liver diseases. She practices at the Texas Liver Institute in the DFW area. Gabriel Trosman is her youngest son, he already has exhibited many creative talents including writing, drawing and playing the piano.
