About the Book
Dealing with new situations can often be stressful. Sometimes our friends can help us gain a better perspective, especially when it relates to making a lot of new changes. Wearing masks, digital meetings, social distancing, it can be a whole lot to deal with! This book helps show how friends can help support each other to learn the importance of adapting to change in a healthy manner. Exploring these topics with humor makes it easier to understand the importance for all of us to do these practices.
About the Author
Dominique Sanchez is a high school chemistry teacher in Southern California. She enjoys teaching STEM content, crafts, board games, and the color purple. This is her very first book which she created during the initial stage of the California stay at home orders. Her friends liked her writing so much that one of them agreed to illustrate the book. She hopes that this book is a fun but also informative teaching opportunity for young readers. Ryan Holt Ph.D was that friend who illustrated the book under his own free will and was not coerced in any way. Definitely not. When he’s not working as a school psychologist, he enjoys hobbies like painting, drawing, and being with friends.
