Prior to becoming a professional coach, Vilva was an accomplished HR Executive with extensive success over a career that spanned twenty-three years in the corporate sector. For about fifteen years she held HR leadership roles in Multinational Organizations. Her core expertise includes Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Talent/Leadership Development, and Compensation and Benefits. Vilva is an expert in the fields of leadership and organizational development, with a focus on the role of leaders in shaping high-performing cultures. Vilva has worked with senior leaders globally to design and deploy organizational transformation processes aimed at creating and sustaining effective large-scale change and driving business profitability.
Her credentials include a Master’s Degree of Applied Psychology in Coaching and the globally recognized International Coach Federation (ICF) certification as a Professional Coach. She is also a certified coach with Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Executive and Team Coaching. Additionally, she has a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
Phylis is an Entrepreneur, Executive Coach, a Talent Acquisition Adviser, and a passionate leader who walks the talk of “Inspire and Co-Create to Enrich Lives.” Her clients include both organisations and individuals. She works with her clients in lifting the organization’s and individuals’ performances and achieving professional goals and personal purpose in life. Prior to founding her Talent Consultancy companies in 2012, Phylis had extensive experience in the areas of Headhunting, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Training and Talent Development, as well as leading operations and business units. She has served multinational companies in the industries of Luxury, Retail, Automotive, Banking, and Headhunting. She has successfully led two start-ups.
In her more than twenty years of working experience, Phylis has worked very closely with regional and senior leaders from various industries, including but not limiting to Retail, Luxury, FMCG, Manufacturing, Technology, and Hospitality to design and develop practical and sustainable strategies and programs in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Talent Retention that drive business results.
Her formal credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology in Coaching from HELP University in Malaysia, Certified Professional Coach from the Certified Coach Academy-International Coach Federation, Certified Executive Coach from Marshall Goldsmith SCC, and is a Certified Global Leadership Assessment (GLA360) practitioner.
