About the Book

The crescendo of publishing this book is to support music teachers and musicians by making the teaching and learning of music more enjoyable for both teachers and students. This book is a companion for music teachers, musicians, children, youngsters, adults, schools, and churches. The book is a compilation and arrangement of old tunes for refreshing 21st-century cacophony. All songs are written with melody and lyrics in a more comfortable key to sing and play. The essence of writing the only melody is to allow the performer to use their own harmony or chords (ad lib). The book is highly recommended for music teachers, musicians, choir directors, vocal teachers, singers, and children choirs and students. It’s all about music education and singing children! This book will help children performing to build their confidence and self-respect. These selected songs are good for teaching children rhymes, and their rhythms are catchy and easy to analyze. I used Sibelius Music Notation Software to notate the melody of some of the African folk’s songs, praise ‘n’ worship, and rearrange the hymns for schools, religion, and community usage. In conclusion, all songs in this book are fun for elementary and junior high students. The teacher can make use of “Rounds” to introduce harmony, “Hymns” for the school's assembly, “Negro spiritual” for junior high students, “Anthems” for choir. In addition, they can use Nigeria’s popular Yoruba, Ibo, and Hausa’s sacred and secular tunes. “Praise and worship songs” that will create a variety of evergreen Christmas Carol (sacred)/Songs (secular) tunes. This book is simply about selected hymns and songs from Africa, America, and Britain for children to sing and play in a more comfortable key. The Midi version will come soon to be ready for live performance using your phone. It’s in compliance with the following curricula *AFRICAN*AMERICAN*BRITISH. Enjoy it!
