About the Book

Passages – Poetry Inspired By “The Mountains Behind” is a labor of love inspired by the response to poems presented at poetry events and shared in other forums. The desire is to inspire, encourage, and motivate you by taking you on a journey of discovery; the “Passages” in this book are in part my way of showing you that you are not and have never been alone in this race called life. There are others on the same roads as you; fear doubt, loneliness, and life’s many challenges can make you feel powerless. This book of powerful “Passages” will show you absolute proof that you are an incredible person, full of your own power, birthed for a purpose, and designed for greatness!

About the Author

Robert Douglas Morris is from Detroit Michigan. He served ten years in the United States Air Force, including several years in Greece and The Netherlands. Robert is the Author of “The Mountains Behind, and The Mountains Behind – Second Edition. He has been featured in National publications and has spoken at events across the country including Churches, Colleges and Universities, Civic functions, Military events, and a variety of Corporate motivational events. Robert has also been featured in the highly respected “Who’s Who In Black Dallas” annual periodical. Robert is the Founder of Next Level Enterprises, an organization that includes Motivational Speaking, Screenplay Development, Song Writing, and Inspirational, Motivational projects including the “We Win Now”, and “Real Talk” series of seminars. Robert is currently working on the final book in “The Mountains Behind Series” coming in late 2019, as well as “The Real Truth About Love”, and his first work of fiction “Choices” expected in 2020.
