About the Author

James Richard Nichols is professor emeritus of English literature and post-colonial studies at Georgia Southern University. He has published several books, among them The Stronger Sex and Children of the Sea. Nichols has also published numerous poems and short stories. Even as an academic, his focus has been on the nature of human relationships
