About the Book

This book is to give children a way to understand the loss of a loved one. It also gives parents and guardians a way to understand why it may be more important to explain this cycle of life and the death process to children.

About the Author

Janea’ M. Gardner was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. She obtained a B.S. in Sports Management from Fontbonne University in 2008, and a Certificate of Specialization in Funeral Directing from Forest Park Community College in 2011. She is currently enrolled in Northcentral University to obtain her MBA with a specialization in Applied Computer Science. She has two beautiful children (Aniyah and Kingston Morgan) who continue to be her motivation. Along with a host of family, loved ones and friends who continue to support her on her life journey. She began writing poems in 2010 and continues to write short stories with her children. She hopes to bring those books to life and share with other children in the near future.
