About the Author

Mary Shockley grew up in the Desert of southern Nevada a short distance from Las Vegas. After leaving home to pursue her career, she met the man of her dreams. She and her husband moved to Colorado where they raised their only daughter. She now lives in Southern Missouri just outside of Branson where she and her husband enjoy time at the lake and,of course, spending time with their now adult daughter and five of their grandchildren.
