The Monty Boys

The Monty Boys is a series of stories about a past family curse, passed down through generations and a loving family torn apart because of it. The family endures loss but finds friendship and love as they manage their day to day teenage years along with their beautiful mother and dead father. The teenage brothers, Logan and Lucas and their best friends Rico and Jared are spunky, good looking high school track team members who are more than just teenage heart throbs. As Logan and Lucas grow up, they experience surges of powers every seven years, forced to re-live their family curse as they must learn to survive and endure the loss of their father as they protect their mother from the demons that try to steal their powers and are constantly trying to kill them. Everyone else has long accepted their father’s death, but what the boys don’t know is that his death has brought about his spirit which helps protect them and fight by their sides, along comes Lola, Logan’s love interest, who is able to see Ghosts since she was a kid and her twin sister Ayla who soon finds out that her sister is not the only one who is different. Logan, possess the power of mind control and Lucas, possess the power of controlling the elements. Their mother Lydia, is an old witch who posses the ability to do spells and controls the elements like her youngest son. Rico, a witty Puerto Rican teenager that brings humor and friendship into the brothers lives and Jared, a good looking and loyal friend who crushes on Lola’s twin sister. Lola, Logan’s love interest becomes the connection to his father’s ghost as many more characters come and go as the story unfolds and we watch the boys go from young kids to teenagers to men. Descendants, creatures who hunt down the generations of the cursed members and the Monty boys determined to stop the them and break the curse once and for all— with the help of their new found Scooby team. This is the first book of a series.
