It is 1951, and Mark Bergner is an American soldier who has just returned home from serving in the army. After Mark decides to travel overseas in search of Lauren, their dream of reuniting finally comes true. About the Author

Jan Hendrix has traveled extensively throughout North America and Europe. He served in the United States Army and worked as a computer engineer for many years. In addition to 6 years of technical schooling, he has a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in literature from California State University. He lives near Austin, Texas. This is his third book.
