About the Book

From the time that tiny Maggie Burman lay silently in her crib, she was, by both family and the outside world, ridiculed for conditions that even the Good Lord above would not have placed on the most wicked of human beings. And the rains of heaven didn’t even come close to the torrential downpours of afflictions that befell this poor creature during the span of her life, such as deafness and weakened lungs. Read how Maggie finally overcomes her misfortunes in life by meeting with and marrying her “Good Samaritan” doctor Tom Alden and, by their lives together, sets the wrongs to right, giving her a new lease on life.

About the Author

Katharin Ridgeway, was born in a small north Texas town, and had, from the age of 12, a passion for compiling short stories to please her friends. Decades later, a homemaker, and published authoress of several works of poetry, she still retains that passion, yet not for poetry or short stories, but for novels. And Katharin’s first, is ‘NUTMEG’, a three part saga, which once more, she writes to please. And several of her friends thinks she just might!
