David escorted the Hassibi family onto the freighter. Several large containers of food and bedding had been pre-arranged in a holding area in the rear of the vessel. It appeared comfortable enough with sunlight coming through the windows on both sides of the ship. Everyone was exhausted and wasted no time finding their beds and getting several hours of much needed rest. Upon waking, Rasheed made his way over to David. “Is your name really Peter?” David shook his head. “No, my real name is David Stone.” Rasheed looked around. “Let me formerly introduce you to my family. This is my father Zia and my mother Nargess. My sisters Lily and Nikoo.” They were all looking at David now in wonder and wanting to know who he was and what was going to happen to them. David suggested that they all eat first. It was going to be a long journey and there was plenty of time to plan for the future. After the meal, David revealed that he worked for Israel and that after learning of the family being arrested and the plans for execution, a rescue plan was developed by the Mossad and that he in fact did work for the Mossad agency. Rasheed was looking very intently at David. “So I assume you never worked for IBM. The code you gave me was not yours. Was everything a lie? Why were you in Iran? Was that really your wife on the UN mission?” Rasheed then made a leap in understanding. “You were planning something. What was it?”

About the Book
Born in New York City, David Stone is orphaned at the age of twelve by the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Haunted by memories, he is raised by his grandparents in Israel and joins the Israeli Defense Forces where he is recruited by the Mossad and assigned to a counter terrorist unit that hunts and eliminates the most ruthless of terrorists. On an ill-fated mission in Lebanon, Hezbollah soldiers ambush David and his unit. Many are killed, including his best friend and fiancée. Looking to again escape pain, he returns to New York and reconnects with the Jewish neighbors he knew as a child. His presence is timely since the Hasidic community is under siege by a vicious gang terrorizing the neighborhood. The Prime Minister and head of the Mossad eventually summon David back to Israel. The Iranian nuclear threat has become critical, leaving Israel with no choice but to act. In an elaborate scheme, David joins a CIA operative on a United Nations fact-finding mission. As a long-range sniper, David is tasked with the assassination of Iran’s top scientists and engineers. Have all his dark times and difficult tasks been leading to this, or will David’s broken heart crumble under the pressure?

Abe Cytryn lives in New York City with his wife. They have twin daughters and grandchildren who keep them happy and breathless. Abe has had a long career, leading technology and innovation in the media and entertainment industry. This is his first novel.
