Day 31 The Love of the Seed in Me If you love the seed in me, then you can handle the fruit of me. Many people love where I am now, wherever that is, but I have also had a level of resistance in my life in reference to relationships because they didn’t understand that I was nurturing the seed that was placed in me, but when the fruits of that labor began to be manifested people came out of the wood works to taste of the fruit. I dare you today to allow God to place people who love the seed that comes before the fruit in your life. Many marriages fail because they can’t handle the planting of the seed and the nurturing that has to take place to include the pruning that is detrimental to the growth process. Every beautiful thing that you experience started off as a seed. Seeds come in many form; words, deeds, observations and even inheritance. Seeds are the beginning thing of a beautiful end. I have always shared my inability to garden or grow flowers because I want to see the end result. When I was married before I used to always watch my father in law “play in his grass” and talk to it and be ever so attentive to it. For years we thought that he was “doing to much” and looked crazy outside talking to, nurturing and cultivating his grass but at the end of the day he always had the greenest grass and the greatest lawn. We never knew that it was preparation for his future calling as a Pastor of a church where he later took that same amount of time and patience with the souls that he was entrusted with. Why? Because he knew he had to give them time to grow.

About the Author
Dr. Jennifer Gilbert is a well-known preacher, teacher, and prophet throughout Texas. She has a master’s degree in adult education, training from the University of Phoenix, and a Ph.D. in Christian education from Northwestern Theological Seminary School. She has been a youth pastor, choir director, and outreach minister. After God, her greatest loves are her children, Damaria and J’Donte, and her grandson, Ethan.
