About the Book

Life: Poetic Interpretations of Eventful Moments is intended to be the type of book that will engage the reader to think, visualize, and react in a manner that inspires compassion, awareness, and understanding for coping with their version of life-changing events. For me, its writing was therapeutic, in that it enabled me to articulate feelings about circumstances in life that could apply to virtually anyone. Furthermore, it offers a reminder that no one is immune to the trials and tribulations inherent to the dynamic world in which we live. Our innate ability to examine this dynamic constructively is essential for achieving inner peace. To that end, I hope that this book impacts you, the reader, in some meaningful way.

About the Author

Henry Whitaker, Jr. is a first-time author. By his own admission, he has ventured beyond his comfort zone as an educator and aspiring historian, to write poetic interpretations about life-changing events. While he has found through personal experience that these events are often chaotic and complicated to comprehend, he hopes through his writing to share insights that touch one’s spirit and consciousness, and offer a perspective that despite unexpected conflicts, life can still be good. Mr. Whitaker currently resides in Texas, where he enthusiastically pursues his next writing challenge.
