Little Moo’s Big Adventure
About the Book
Little Moo is a lonely calf who has no other young animals to play with in his pasture. He asks his mother whether he can play with the cows across the road, but she tells him there are too many cars that go way too fast on the country road; he might get hurt! But Little Moo is on a mission. He’s determined to find a way to get over there and have someone to play with. He gets advice from all the animals he knows—Mr. Horse, Mrs. Goose, and Mr. Owl. They tell Little Moo not to be foolish and that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence. When he finally gets to the other pasture, he has fun and makes some new friends. But he soon finds out that most cows don’t stay in this pasture for very long. Can Little Moo make it back to his mother safely, and what will happen to his new friends? In this children’s book, a calf in a quiet pasture with no one to play with goes on an adventure to the field across the road and learns an important lesson along the way.
