About the Book

In Brain Navigators, twin physicians Dr. Jean-Ronel Corbier, a pediatric neurologist, and Dr. Paul Corbier, an internist, combine decades of clinical expertise with a shared vision for brain health. As cofounders of the Brain Restoration Clinic, they weave together compelling patient stories, personal reflections, and cutting-edge research to illuminate a powerful, integrative approach to healing. While rooted in neurology, this book reaches beyond the nervous system to offer insights into whole-person restoration. At its core lies a conviction: Healing is possible, and even complex, chronic conditions can improve when addressed with clarity, intention, and a holistic mindset. The Corbier brothers focus on four critical neurological domains: seizures, special needs (developmental and behavioral challenges), neuroimmune dysfunction, and cognitive impairment. Rather than isolating these conditions, the authors guide readers through the biological, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual dimensions that influence recovery. Central to their work is the Restoration Model—the signature framework of the Brain Restoration Clinic. About the Author

Dr. Jean-Ronel Corbier earned his medical degree in 1995 from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Following his internship and pediatric residency at Michigan State University, he completed his adult neurology training at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a child neurology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati. He has been in clinical practice since 2000 and is widely recognized for his work on autism. Dr. Paul Corbier attended Andrews University, graduating in 1989. His medical education continued in Lansing, Michigan, where he and his twin brother, Jean- Ronel, volunteered at the Lansing Haitian Refugee Center. Board-certified in internal medicine, he practiced at a large multispecialty clinic in Florida before serving as the medical director of Life Path Hospice in Polk County, Florida. He directed a drug counseling program in Winter Haven, Florida, and was in private practice in Alabama before transitioning to correctional medicine. In 2018, he joined his twin brother at the Brain Restoration Clinic in South Carolina as chief medical officer.
