My Poems of Faith and Inspiration

About the Book

This book contains personal poems and also poems to live by. They were created when I first became a Christian, when Jesus brought me to being a Christian, God gave me the talent, and the Holy Spirit guided my hand. An angel named Mike is the one who inspired me. I hope that this book may inspire others to get to know why they are here and why they should get to know Jesus.

About the Author

Being seventy-six years old and divorced three times, I have been around the block (a few times). My childhood was surrounded with love from my mom, aunts, uncles, cousins, one sibling, and a grandfather that was the best father figure a girl could have. Through my life, I have had many pitfalls, but I survived them all. My life has been filled with many blessings—my six children most of all. I now have twenty-six grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My sister is still living and has eight children and 50+ grandchildren (including great) whom I love dearly. I became a Christian six years ago—not that I wasn’t one since birth. To explain this, I was a Catholic and a very staunch one when I was a young girl, but through the years of living with abusive husbands and living with a man for twenty years, I have realized that being a Catholic wasn’t for me. I still respect the religious doctrines, but I have come to believe that the Bible is the only way for me. I have given myself to the Lord and let him rule my life because up until I became a Christian, I wasn’t doing such a hot job. This book will show that my experiences have molded my thoughts on life.
